About Us

In 2021, three talented craftsmen and friends with decades of metalworking experience formed Madison County Metalwork to provide fabrication and machine work to our region. We founded this company with the mission of providing precise and quality metalwork to our customers while excelling in our trade specialties and growing our services.

Josh Bailey

Was a bit of a rolling stone in his youth living everywhere from Florida to Arizona. He struck his first arc at 7 years old and continued to show interest in metalworking. A few years later, during High School, he took night classes at the local junior college in welding and machining while working at a local shop. He spent a year pursuing a bachelors in mechanical engineering before enlisting in the Army. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, he found himself in Nebraska and went back to metalworking. Moving from custom metal fabrication to managing a laser department at a job shop, he continued pursuing his interest in metalworking. He became a local over a decade ago and has been in the industry for over 15 years.

Ryan Showalter

Born and raised in Norfolk, NE, Ryan graduated from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE in 1998 with a diploma in Welding Technology, and then WyoTech in Laramie, WY in 2002 with a diploma in Collision Repair and Custom Street Rod Fabrication. He worked in area job shops, both on the shop floor and management until 2022. Ryan has over 20 years in the industry, and is experienced in many types of fabrication for many different industries including medical, food, rubber, steel, ethanol, and agriculture.

Brian Wolfe

Born and raised in Norfolk, NE, Brian graduated from Southeast Community College in Milford, NE in 1999 with a Tool and Die degree. He worked in area job shops until 2022. Brian has over 20 years in the industry, both on the shop floor and in management, and is experienced in many types of machining including milling, turning, grinding, heat treating, and wire EDM. He’s a well rounded machinist, has worked with a multitude of materials, and has done work for industries including medical, food, rubber, steel, ethanol, and agriculture.
